SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Duties:
Design, develop, enhance, debug, test, and implement software for performance monitoring of various back-end databases and back-end technologies including but not limited to the following: Open Stack Cloud, Apache Storm, Apache Kafka, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Hadoop, PostgresSQL, MongoDB, MemSQL. Design, develop, and test new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Perform research and feasibility analysis on potential future products. Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Provide third-tier level support services using the above technologies for SATS's clients. Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.

Education requirement:
Master Degree or foreign equivalent in Communication System Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and three years of experience, or Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent, in Communication Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Software Development or other Computer Software professional positions.

Stated Experience to include:
3 years with C\C++, Java, Python, SQL; Linux\Unix, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, ORACLE, Postgres, MongoDB
1 year with OpenStack Cloud, Amazon AWS, Hadoop, Storm, Kafka and MemSQL
